WE UNDERSTAND YOUR HIRING NEEDS
We know how important it is to ensure that the person you hire is a good fit for the position and your company. That is why we have developed services that assist you in finding the right person for the position and making sure that the hiring process is as smooth as can be.
Our professional services include:
Thorough Applicant Pre-Screening and Job Matching
All participants undergo a comprehensive career assessment process providing details about education, experience, skills, work preferences, and required accommodations. If needed, participants are provided with training before conducting a job search. Once a suitable position has been identified and prior to placement, a THEO BC staff member conducts a Job Analysis to ensure that employer job needs and those of the prospective employee are a good match.
Professionally Arranged Placements
Prior to placement, a Counsellor will review, with the employer and the prospective employee, the details pertaining to the job, including the tasks to be done, and any supports that will help the new employee to succeed in the job, including identification and implementation of accommodations and adaptive devices if required, and any On-the-Job Training needs.
Disability Orientation
THEO BC will provide employers with general information pertaining to working with persons with disabilities and specific strategies to enhance the job success of the particular person hired.
There are many simple ways that you can support a person with a disability in your workplace.
