ACE
Avenues to Capturing Employment (ACE) is funded by BC’s Ministry of Housing and
Social Development. ACE is a structured, self-directed job search program that helps
unemployed people who are legally entitled to work in Canada find gainful employment in
a highly effective and efficient manner. An Employment Facilitator will assist you in
developing self-marketing strategies through both group workshops and individual
support, and will provide you with regular feedback throughout the job search process.
ACE will assist you to:

Manage your job search

Employ effective, results-oriented job search techniques

Establish and expand strong professional networks

Develop an effective resume and cover letter

Conduct successful interviews, including preparation and
effective follow-up

Learn how to succeed in your new job
The ACE Program offers continuous intakes, and all workshops are
designed so that they do not have to be taken in sequence and
can be taken over a 2-5 week period. Workshops are followed by
12 weeks of one-on-one support.
