JOB SIGHT
Job Sight is funded by the BC Ministry of Housing and Social Development's British Columbia
Employment Program (BCEP). This program provides
individualized employment services and supports to clients receiving BC Employment &
Assistance. Job Sight accepts clients with mental health issues, addictions
issues and other barriers to employment. Clients move along the employment continuum and are
provided with one-on-one assistance in finding sustainable employment.
Job Sight will provide you with:

Community services

Resumes and cover letters
-
Employment Skills workshops such as: Networking, Interview Skills, and Computer Basics

Life Skills workshops such as: Time Management, Budgeting, Personal Strategies for Success,
and Conflict Resolution

Alcohol and drug counselling
-
Short-term certificate training such as: First Aid, WHMIS, Forklift Operator and Traffic Control
Person
Clients are provided with free coffee and bus tickets daily and can access the fully equipped
Resource Centre for all their job search needs. Upon successful employment placement, clients
are provided with ongoing support to maintain employment.
Orientations occur every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 1:00pm. Ask your BC
Employment and Assistance worker for more information or a referral today!
